Egmont Dixon were engaged to lead the delivery of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand new office at BNZ Place, Wellington.

The project transformed a base‑build floorplate into a considered, highly functional environment supporting both day‑to‑day operations and client engagement. The fitout includes a mix of front‑of‑house areas, training spaces, focused work areas, breakout zones, and a balance of both open‑plan and enclosed offices. With a refined material palette, including profiled timber panelling, acoustic treatments, timber flooring and feature lighting, the space supports hybrid working and client engagement.

A key component of the delivery was a mid-project value engineering exercise, undertaken in close collaboration with the client and consultant team to realign scope and budget while protecting the original design intent.

Delivered within a live commercial tower environment, the project required careful planning and execution to manage noise, vibration, and disruption, with particular consideration for neighbouring and lower-level tenants. Strong coordination across all stakeholders supported delivery against an accelerated programme, while maintaining quality, cost control, and design outcomes throughout.
